Australia’s Leading Home Care Agency (ALHCA) is owned and operated by a passionate Mother-Daughter team, Annie Sargood and Chris Sargood. They launched in 1999 – providing services Australia wide across metropolitan, rural and remote locations. The team specialises in the care and support of families, children, young people and parents who are approved for the In Home Care Program (Government subsidised Childcare in the family home).
IHC is a flexible form of early childhood education and care where an Educator provides care in the child’s home. It is restricted to families who can’t access other types of approved care. This could be due to:
- Families living in remote and rural areas
- Parents working non-standard or variable hours
- Families faced with challenging or complex needs, who are facing challenging situations
